Dear Fellow Parishioners;
It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing away of Mr. Kamal Shammas Toma earlier today. Mr. Toma has been a member of this Church since its inception. He was instrumental in building the Church in Southfield and was a member and president of the Board of Directors for many years. Mr. Toma is survived by his wife, Norma, his sons Ray, Danny, and Chris, and his daughter Linda.
There will be a public visitation this Saturday, April 23, at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Syriac Orthodox Church located at 25566 Lahser Rd., Southfield, MI 48033, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. The family requests that donations in lieu of flowers are to be made to the Good Samaritan Fund of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, which will be sent to the suffering Christians in the Middle East.
May the Lord Jesus Christ rest his soul and keep him in heaven with the true believers. Please keep Mr. Toma and his family in your prayers. God bless.
